Being referred to the service
There are many ways in which you can be referred to the Westminster Talking Therapies Service (IAPT). You can be referred by your GP or other Health Professional, and you can also refer yourself online.
In order to be eligible for the Westminster service, you must be registered with a Westminster GP and/ or live in Westminster. If you do not live in Westminster or have a Westminster GP, please use the above like to find your local Talking Therapies service and get in touch with them for more information.
Our Talking Therapies Services are not able to provide immediate support in an emergency. Self-referring
The first thing to do is to make sure that you live in Westminster or are registered with a GP in the Borough of Westminster.
The next thing to do is to complete the short questionnaire below to check if this service is appropriate for you. If you score more than 3 then you may benefit from talking therapies.
