We are an NHS service providing a range of talking therapies to people over 18 years of age, registered with a Hillingdon GP. Talking therapies can help if you're feeling worried, low or stressed or struggling in your relationships.

Hillingdon Talking Therapies are part of the national NHS ‘Improving Access to Psychological Therapy’ (IAPT) service within the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. If you or someone you know is struggling and needs someone to talk to, reach out to us by giving us a call, sending us an email, or using our online self-referral form by clicking on the “Hillingdon referral form” button at the end of this page.

Self-referring into Hillingdon Talking Therapies service

We accept self referrals from members of the public and from NHS, social care staff and key workers

Self-referring if you are a member of the public: The first thing to do is to make sure that you are registered with a GP in the Borough of Hillingdon. Then do the short questionnaire below. If your total score is more than 3 then you may benefit from talking therapies. You can self-refer to our services by clicking the
 “Hillingdon referral form” button below.

Please note that in line with government advice on social distancing, all therapies are provided by telephone, video call or online.  There is good evidence that talking therapies are equally effective when delivered remotely and treatment options can be discussed with a clinician at telephone assessment.  If you are struggling, please consider accessing help this way.

Self-referring if you are an NHS member of staff or keyworker: If you are a CNWL or NHS Staff member, or work in the Care sector in and would like to self-refer, please self-refer through the borough in which you work and indicate clearly that you are CNWL staff, NHS staff or work in the Care sector, in the referral. If you do not live or work or have a GP in a CNWL borough, you can refer yourself to any of our services.
